As Design Engineer, Brian will be able to apply new design techniques to perform over multiple octave bandwidths. He will utilize construction techniques that include stripline, microstrip, and suspended stripline. These products will be designed to operate in the frequency ranges of DC – 67GHz, in order to support XMA’s coaxial passive product offering. Brian will also be responsible for troubleshooting products, revising old product designs, and designing new products.
Although Brian has many roles at XMA as Design Engineer, he really enjoys the new product development aspect of the job. He “likes to see a product from start to finish and play a role in developing a new product.” Tommy Kuhn, Director of Engineering, is looking forward to working with Brian, saying “Brian brings a wealth of RF knowledge to XMA and we’re very pleased with him joining our team. I see a passion in him that will benefit XMA as it grows both in our current product offerings and in our new ventures.” Adding Brian as Design Engineer is another great example of XMA’s dedication to continuous improvement.
