The certifying body, NSF, completed the AS9100 Revision C:2009 audit in May of 2014 and awarded the certificate in June after final ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board (ANAB) review. Additionally, this ensures their compliance to ISO9001:2008.

XMA Corporation, a leader in advanced Microwave and RF products, was host to Vice President Joseph Biden, US Secretary of Labor Thomas Perez, and NH Governor Maggie Hassan to discuss the future of high technology and workforce development programs for the Microwave and RF Industry.
During an address to the employees of XMA, Vice President Biden stated, “We are trying to replicate what you do at XMA across the Country.” Vice President Biden mentioned the importance of high technology companies such as XMA in the future growth of the Microwave and RF Industry by offering “On the Job Training” programs as well as participating in various educational events for emerging RF engineers.
In addition to the comments made by Vice President Biden, NH Governor Hassan mentioned, “Our State’s focus is on strengthening our workforce partnerships within the private sector, to collaboratively train thousands of new workers.”
According to Marc Smith, President/CEO of XMA, “The growth strategy of XMA Corporation directly relies on our ability to hire talented high tech professionals from within NH, both active and inactive. The immediate financial impact of hiring professionals becomes a challenge for small to medium sized companies. However, by utilizing the NH Works program, as sponsored by the US Department of Labor, XMA is able to hire key talent within NH to grow our business and add value to our customers.”

G2 Sales has highly qualified field sales engineers that are very knowledgeable about XMA’s products and the applications that they can be used in. Brandy Gosselin, Director of Sales and Marketing at XMA said, “The relationship between XMA and G2 is one that has potential to significantly strengthen our position in the passive component field. G2’s world-class team and number of field sale’s engineers will allow XMA to provide the best local support, technical expertise, and engineered solutions to customers in the southeast.”
Jay Parker, one of G2’s Territory Directors and Field Sales Engineers said that, “G2 is very excited with the addition of XMA – Omni Spectra® to our product offering. XMA-Omni Spectra® is a provider of high quality products that complement both our Commercial and Mil-Aero market portfolio.” The alliance of XMA and G2 Sales is certain to be a powerful one.
As Design Engineer, Brian will be able to apply new design techniques to perform over multiple octave bandwidths. He will utilize construction techniques that include stripline, microstrip, and suspended stripline. These products will be designed to operate in the frequency ranges of DC – 67GHz, in order to support XMA’s coaxial passive product offering. Brian will also be responsible for troubleshooting products, revising old product designs, and designing new products.
Although Brian has many roles at XMA as Design Engineer, he really enjoys the new product development aspect of the job. He “likes to see a product from start to finish and play a role in developing a new product.” Tommy Kuhn, Director of Engineering, is looking forward to working with Brian, saying “Brian brings a wealth of RF knowledge to XMA and we’re very pleased with him joining our team. I see a passion in him that will benefit XMA as it grows both in our current product offerings and in our new ventures.” Adding Brian as Design Engineer is another great example of XMA’s dedication to continuous improvement.
Mostafa comes to XMA Corporation with an extensive background in Quality Management and Process Engineering. Before starting with XMA, he spent nine years in the wire cable manufacturing industry, most recently having a position of Quality Manager for RSCC Aerospace and Defense. He believes in utilizing and applying the LEAN and Six Sigma tools under the 80/20 methodology. Mostafa holds an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from NHTI and is currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree at UNH.
Mostafa is excited for the challenges that this position brings and believes that “There is a great opportunity for growth”, here at XMA. He also believes that XMA has significant potential for a larger market share in the RF Microwave and Millimeter Wave Industry. XMA’s Operations Manager, Andrea Myers says, “Mostafa is the perfect addition to the XMA Team! As Quality Manager, his knowledge and experience is beneficial to the continuous improvement of the organization.”

To support increased business volume from several of its RF, Microwave, and Millimeter Wave passive components, XMA Corporation has expanded its operations at 150 Dow Street in Manchester, NH by 50%. The expansion provides additional space for the increased business in XMA’s high frequency (up to 67 GHz) and high power (up to 500 watts) coaxial attenuator, termination, dc block, power divider, directional coupler and equalizer product lines.

Marc is an experienced leader with skills in building collaborative teams and creating business partnerships that drive improved organizational performance. Most recently he worked as Vice President of the Communications Business Unit for Gentex Corporation, an industry-leading high technology company in the warfighter protection, communications, and firefighter protection markets. Marc also held the positions of VP Global Sales and VP / General Manager during his very successful 18 year career with Gentex Corporation.
